The Emergency Management of Severe Burns Course is faciliated by members of the Australian and New Zealand Burns Assoc (ANZBA). You will learn how to recognise, assess, stabilise and transfer the severely burnt patient. Theoretical and practical clinical skill demonstrations will combine to enhance learning opportunities for rural medical specialists. Life-like case simulations using rural scenarios will then be used to consolidate and integrate the course material. This project is in partnership with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Australian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).
Course time: commences at 0730 (registration) 0800 sharp lectures commence and course completed at 1745 hours.
Course Fee: RACS members, IMG's and Members of other Medical Colleges AUD $110.00
Non-members: $580.00
